We picked up Liv's glasses from her eye doctor today and celebrated the occasion with a joyous, impromtu "glasses party" at JoJo and Poppy's house. We swung by to share some pizza together and they greeted us in their own glasses. Liv was thrilled! She felt special, you could tell. We are hoping to keep her attitude toward glasses as positive as possible. So far so good. She kept them on all evening and we have added "wearing glasses" to her rewards chart. Now, let's see how long it takes her to realize that she can start to learn to read now. :) Very exciting!
